FISHING ASSIST FOUNDER
Fish Assist Foundation was born from one man’s cherished memories and a vision to share them with the next generation. David Grow, our founder, grew up fishing alongside his grandfather, casting lines into streams that taught him more than just how to catch a fish. Those days on the water instilled in him a deep love for fishing, an appreciation for nature’s beauty, and a sense of peace that only a quiet stream can offer.
For David, the thrill of hooking a fish—marveling at its strength and vibrant beauty—was a gift that shaped his life. Now, he’s determined to pass that gift on to today’s children. In a world dominated by screens and technology, David believes there’s nothing more valuable than getting kids back outside, rod in hand, experiencing the wonders of the natural world.
Inspired by the timeless saying, “Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, and he eats for life,” David founded Fish Assist Foundation to do just that—teach kids the skills, passion, and respect for nature that will stay with them forever. Through fishing, he hopes to give children the same joy, tranquility, and connection to the outdoors that his grandfather gave him.
